Join our small team that makes world class Audio/Video hardware and software for the Business Jet industry. We are looking to add a Production Test Technician to our staff.

The Production Test Technician works under limited direction/supervision and is responsible to test assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications using automated test equipment emphasizing quality while following set procedures and standard operational guidelines.

This position is performed onsite in Kirkland, WA with a 5x8 schedule. 

What you will do:
  • Technical Understanding: Interpret and work in accordance with drawings, functional and acceptance test procedures, failure reports, manuals and all other applicable engineering and production specifications
  • Automated Testing: Perform acceptance testing using a variety of automated testing equipment and special test consoles on newly manufactured products and product returns. If needed troubleshoot the test setup to validate proper functionality.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing and interpretation of results from standard and special purpose test equipment such as multi-meters, signal generators, power supplies, bridges, and oscilloscopes.
  • Writing: Communicate effectively is writing to document findings in reports including detailed description of testing performed, resulting failure, and initial root cause investigation results.
  • Oral Expression: Effectively communicate information and ideas to others.
  • Problem Solving: Apply your knowledge and experience to identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within the company to resolve issues. May work with engineers in conducting specific test experiments.
  • Skill Development: Quickly come up to speed on unfamiliar hardware and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in industries with a focus on high reliability, and compliance, such as aerospace, defense, or medical.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of both automated and manual test equipment for testing of complex assemblies and/or final systems. Ability to setup manual test equipment for testing.
  • Skills: Above average personal skills for working directly with our manufacturer and customers. Great computer, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Task Management: Self-directed task management required.
  • Communication: Fluent spoken and written English
  • Education/Certification (preferred): AA degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent knowledge through experience or other recognized educational institution

Compensation:
  • Salary may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location outside of Kirkland, WA
    • Production Test Technician: $26.65 - $38.49 per hour
